Fallacy of Pefectionism

The thing about being a Christian is that too many people don't realize that it doesn't make people perfect. 

It never will. It makes people clean. It brings unity with God again. But it does not make you perfect. No matter how long we pursue perfection, we will never achieve it in our lifetime.

Perfection is an eternal process.

In fact, we may very well never achieve perfection.

I believe that because along with free will, God gave us the ability and FREEDOM to make mistakes. But he also gave us the desire to strive for perfection. But we will never be capable of being perfect. We are not God or gods ourselves. He is God. He is the the one who in the midst of our imperfections is glorified and covers our imperfections with His grace and His own perfection.

So just relax.
